HARTFORD, Conn. – Jordan Quinones ran for 129 yards and Chandler Barnard added 124 as Trinity won its 27th consecutive game Saturday, 23-3 over Bowdoin.

Trinity (5-0, 5-0 NESCAC) led 10-3 in the second quarter when Kevin Quinn recovered a muffed 56-yard punt on the Bowdoin 14-yard line. Gennaro Leo later scored from a yard out to give the Bantams a 17-3 lead.

Kevin Swiniarski, who hit a 26-yard field goal in the second quarter, added kicks of 24 and 28 yards in the fourth quarter to secure the victory.

The Bantams had 413 yards of total offense, 318 on the ground.

Bowdoin’s points came on a 31-yard field goal from sophomore Nolan McNair in the first quarter.

Shaun Brisson caught three balls for 83 yards for the Polar Bears (4-1, 4-1), including a 70-yard reception in the second quarter that gave Bowdoin a first down at Trinity’s 9-yard line. But Bowdoin’s Ahron Cohen fumbled on the next play, and Quinn recovered.
