LEWISTON – The Androscoggin chapter of the Maine Women’s Network is inviting business and professional women to a presentation from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 26, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the The Hartford Agency.

Christie MacConnell, a counselor with Coastal Enterprise Inc.’s Women’s Business Center, will present “Getting Your Business Plan Together.”

She has served as a business counselor with three different organizations in the past 11 years, the last five years for CEI. During this time, she has worked with start-up businesses, helping them to develop business plans and loan applications. As a CEI women’s business counselor, she meets with clients in Southern Maine and offers workshops in South Portland, Portland and Springvale. MacConnell has established several networking groups for women in Maine, which have been functioning for five years.

During the Oct. 26 program, she will point out some of the most important elements of a good working plan.
