AUBURN – Lewiston-Auburn Community Little Theatre recently held its annual fall meeting at the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch with a large membership in attendance. President Joel Salberg conducted the meeting, and new elected board members, Ron Bouffard, Thomas P. Peters II and David Trask, were present.
Salberg presented the President’s Award to Loretta Perry for her dedication and hard work at the theater since 1982. Doreen Traynor, executive director, announced director’s chairs had been earned by first-time directors Tim Pinkham and Celeste Philippon last year. Producers for the 2004-2005 season, John Blanchette, Ron Bouffard, Pauline Caouette-Moore and Ellen Peters, were also recognized.
At the close of the business meeting, plaques were given to area businesses in appreciation for their dedication and support of CLT.
Entertainment featuring selections from musicals from the upcoming season were presented by Bruce Gerry, “Broadway Rocks!”; Robin Starnegg, “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast”; Michelle Mahon, “Grand Hotel”; Steve Dupont and Pam Vaillancourt in a duet, “A Night at the Tonys – In Concert!”; and Mike Litchfield, “(Mame.” Piano accompanist was Bob Caldwell.
Refreshments were served at a social hour closing the evening. Autumn arrangements were on all the tables and the registration table.
