WATERVILLE – Malcolm L. Bowker, 81, of Winslow, died Sunday, Oct. 23, at Maine General Medical Center, with his loving family by his side.
He was born on Feb. 10, 1924, in South Paris, the son of Willy and Hazel (Tucker) Bowker.
He was a veteran of World War II, an avid skier, loved long drives in the car and was an active member of the Telephone Pioneers, a charitable organization.
He loved spending time with his family; he was especially proud of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by three sons, Mark and his wife, Louise, of Waterville, Brian of Norridgewock and Carl of Winslow; one daughter, Jo Anne Brown and her husband, Chris, of Waterville; four grandchildren, Amy, Adam, Jason and Kristen; three great-grandchildren, Dylan, Zachary and Jasmine; and one sister, Althea Morse of South Paris.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara, in 2002; and a sister, Doris Gordin.
