ORONO – The University of Maine men’s and women’s basketball programs tip off the 2005-06 campaign with the annual Blue/White scrimmage and FanFest on Sunday, Oct. 30, at 4 p.m. at Alfond Arena.

Doors open at 3 p.m., and admission is free. The men’s program tips off the afternoon’s events at 4 p.m. with the split-squad scrimmage followed by a scrimmage by the women’s program.

The games will be seperated by a dunk contest, a three-point shootout, and feature one lucky student shooting for $10,000.
