Worship leader

PARIS – The Rev. Richard Trudeau of the New Massachusetts Universalist Convention will be the worship leader at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris. The music will be under the direction of Forest Perkins, church organist. Renee Wales will direct the Sunday school. Childcare is provided. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.

Computer courses

PARIS – The Paris Public Library will offer free courses covering computer basics starting Tuesday, Nov. 8. Initial courses will be offered from 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays. Course material will range from basic computer usage to more advanced applications.

If interested in signing up for one or more of the courses, contact the Paris Public Library at 743-6994.

The initial class will cover basic computer terms and tools; later classes will cover Internet and e-mail use, word processing, creation and manipulation of spreadsheets and presentations and other topics upon request.

Site walk

WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Planning Board will conduct a site walk at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, on a subdivision as proposed by Lloyd Poland. The site, to be known as Fuller Hill Estates, is off the Fuller Hill Road. The board members will meet at the Town Office at 1 p.m. Rain date is 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31.
