AUBURN – The Edward Little High School class of 1965 celebrated its 40th reunion on Sept. 23 and 24.

Classmates gathered at the home of Nina Schlikin on Friday evening and Saturday. Dick Breau organized a golf outing at Martindale Country Club on Saturday afternoon. Saturday night, 75 class members attended a dinner, dancing and reminiscing at the club.

Master of Ceremonies Mike Magno updated the class and recognized out-of-state members who traveled the farthest: Larry Gray, London, England; Peter Gamache, Anchorage, Alaska; Mike Magno, Washington; Butch Downing, California; Gretchen Snowe-Bly, Robert Stewart, Nick Schlikin, Florida, and first-time classmates to return since 1965.

The reunion committee consisted of Carol Wood Mashaw, Suzanne Rattigan Trefsger, Polly Palman Carey, Joyce O’Hara Nichols, Nina Schlikin, Tina Smith Agren, Cheryl Houston Walters, Calla Wells, Terry LeVasseur Thomas, Richard Breau and Mike Magno.

The committee thanks several 1965 members who have never attended a reunion for making the effort to attend this year.
