I don’t know, and really don’t care, whoever told Michael Heath of the Maine Christian Civic League that religion and politics are a good mix. However, he and Paul Madore of the Maine Grassroots Coalition are sadly mistaken. Jesus Christ taught that “He who is without sin, cast the first stone.” To me, it seems they both feel they are without sin.
What a sad mistake they are making. Christ never discriminated against anyone.
I believe that Christ has a reason for everyone on this Earth to be here, no matter what they are doing.
The upcoming human-rights vote is a matter of dignity, pride and equality for each and every person in this state. Not for special rights.
I hope that the people in Maine are smart enough to realize that they are not voting for special rights, but equal rights.
