As usual, I see the Sun Journal is trying to influence the public to vote for the gay special-rights bill. In a story that ran Oct. 21, a “nonscientific study” that looked at only gay people is a joke. How come the people doing the study didn’t interview other people to see if they had felt any discrimination? Why? Because the study would have shown that everyone could say he or she has felt discriminated against at one time or another.
But because we all need to feel sorry for the people who make more money than the average person in Maine and that have a choice on how to live, we are supposed to affirm this law that gives them special rights.
The story was supposed to show the factual information that the study provided, but it was one of the biggest lies that the Sun Journal has printed. There was nothing factual about the study.
If I ask 20 people who have been bitten by dogs if dogs are dangerous, most will say yes, but that has nothing to do with the truth.
It has been well said about our times that good will become evil and evil will become good.
Is it any wonder that the Portland newspaper has had to lay off people? The media are not connected to anything but their warped agenda.
