HARTFORD – Brenda Jean Packard, 55, of Hartford, died unexpectedly on Friday, Oct. 28.

She was born in Lewiston on June 2, 1950, the daughter of Arnold A. and Lilla R. (DeCoster) Perry. She was educated in Buckfield schools and graduated from Buckfield High School and later from CMVTI with a degree in nursing.

She had worked at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Greene, and later at Bolster Heights in Auburn.

Brenda loved animals, gardening and the outdoors.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Stephen Packard; one daughter, Jennifer Theriault and her fianc, Christopher Reed; one brother, Donald Perry; and two grandchildren, Gabrielle Theriault and Alyssa Theriault, all of Hartford.
