LEWISTON – Last week’s heavy rain will push back the grand opening of the city’s newest parking garage until Thursday.

A grand opening and ribbon cutting had been scheduled for Monday. It’s been pushed back to 10 a.m. Thursday to give crews more time to finish the work.

The rain kept crews from pouring the concrete at the front of the garage, according to Greg Mitchell, assistant city administrator.
