AUBURN – Pearl Saulnier, 83, of Auburn, beloved wife of the late Joseph Amedee Saulnier, died Friday, Oct. 28.

Born Nov. 16, 1921, in Buffalo, N.Y., to the late Frank and Mary (Holtzbauer) Schrenk, Pearl lived most of her life in the Frog Hollow section of Hartford before moving to Maine 30 years ago.

Pearl volunteered with the SEARCH organization in Auburn, enjoyed playing cards with friends and was a communicant of St. Louis RC Church in Auburn.

Pearl is survived by three children, Dawn Gauthier of East Hartford, Edward Saulnier and his wife, Ann, of Bolton, and Susan Goddard and her husband, Roger, of Auburn; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Pearl was predeceased by a brother, Harold “Sarge” Schrenk.
