BRIDGTON – The Bridgton Hospital Guild held its annual meeting on Oct. 25 at the Black Horse Tavern.

Guild President Eunice Fitton presented a check for $22,685 to John Carlson, hospital president/CEO.

The gift is restricted to the purchase of the following capital equipment: two critical care beds, a treadmill and upper body exerciser for physical therapy and a vital signs machine for oncology.

The guild does its fund-raising through running of the Thrift Shop on Main Street and the Coffee Shop, which is located in the former hospital building.

Representatives attending the luncheon from the hospital included Carlson, Philip Libby, board chairman; John Ludwig, vice president of administration; Pamela Smith, director of development; and Marie Paul, administrative secretary.
