I could not believe the letter from Jeff Kochis (Oct. 21). To Kochis, the foundation of this country is choice – choice to buy a pair of shoes, where to go or what to do. Those choices are all equal, and so is the choice of abortion.

But I believe that the foundation of this country is the Constitution, which guarantees every human being the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I believe that includes every unborn child in a mother’s womb, which is why I am pro-life and not pro-death.
