SOUTH PORTLAND – Margaret E. Clements, 97, formerly of Auburn, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at South Portland Nursing Home, after a short illness.

She was born on May 12, 1908, in Lewiston, the daughter of William and Ellen (Coolican) Moore. Margaret was educated in Lewiston schools.

She was a homemaker and self-employed hairdresser in Lewiston for many years.

Margaret is survived by many nieces, nephews and their families.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Ralph C. Welch, and her second husband, Raymond Clements.
