LEEDS – Michael and Dorna Davis of Leeds are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay E. Davis, to Darryl J. Handasyde, son of Alan Handasyde of Adelaide, Australia, and Judy Marion of Chinchilla, Australia.
Miss Davis is a 2000 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine at Machias with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is currently teaching pre-kindergarten at Happy Valley Preschool in Happy Valley, Oregon.
Mr. Handasyde is a 1994 graduate of Nestucca High School and a 2002 graduate of Metropolitan Community College, with an associate degree in computer programming and web support. He is currently a senior report writer at Panther Systems in Vancouver, Wash.
An Aug. 12 wedding is planned.
