DIXFIELD – Mary D. Beggs, 39, of Dixfield, died peacefully, Thursday, Nov. 3, at her home.

She was born, July 27, 1966, in San Diego, Calif., a daughter of Dennis D. and Priscilla (Wing) Dodds.

During her life she enjoyed going to church, teaching Sunday School and arranging Christian Ladies retreats at Blueberry Mountain. She also enjoyed holidays spent with family, shopping with her daughter, Abby, working on the farm, baking and spending time with her many friends.

She is survived by her father, Dennis D. Dodds and his wife, Barbara of Ellenton, of Florida; her mother, Priscilla Ivy and her husband, Russell, of Dixfield; a daughter, Abby Beggs of Dixfield; stepsons, Dean Beggs and his wife, Nicole, and their three children, Crista, Amanda and Skylar, of Lewiston, and Joseph Beggs of Carthage; a brother, Nelson Frost and his wife, Crystal, and their two sons, Neil and Kurt, of Brunswick; sisters, Marguerite “Maggie” Dodds and her companion, Marc Noyes, and their two children, Ashley and Melissa, of Peru, and Judy Gammon and her husband, Eddie, and their four children, Steven, Justin, Jonathan and Kathrine, of Bryant Pond.

She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard “Frank” Beggs, on July 18, 2003; and a daughter, Bethany Lynn Beggs.
