GREENE – The wedding of Hayley Erin Ryan and Gregory Roy Rolfe Jr. was held at 6 p.m. on July 23 at the home of Conrad and Judy Chateauvert in Greene. Jordan Shaw, justice of the peace, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Rolfe is the daughter of Laurie A. Ryan of Sabattus. Mr. Rolfe is the son of Sheila Black and her husband, George Black of Lewiston, and the late Gregory Roy Rolfe Sr.

The bride, given in marriage by her uncle, Glenn Chateauvert, wore a white floor-length gown, off-the-shoulder with beaded accents at the bottom of gown. She carried a bouquet of white roses and daisies with daisies in her hair.

Meghan E. Ryan was maid of honor for her sister and bridesmaids were Jessica Dow, friend of the bride, and Kelly Houle, sister of the bridegroom. Caroline Ashley Golden, niece of the bridegroom, and Jillian L. Rolfe, daughter of the bridegroom, were flower girls.

Glenn J. Rolfe performed the duties of best man for his brother, and ushers were Doug Houle, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Andrew Thomas, friend of the bridegroom. Wyeth Gregory Houle, nephew of the bridegroom, and Griffin Nicolas Rolfe, son of the bridegroom, were ring bearers.

A reception followed at the Chateauvert residence. The couple is residing in Sabattus.

The bride is a graduate of Oak Hill High School and is currently enrolled in the certified nurses aide program at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. She is employed at the hospital.

The bridegroom is graduate of the University of Maryland and the University of Texas. He is employed at Hancock Lumber.
