LISBON FALLS – Lisbon Adult Education is offering several classes for families with young children. Family craft workshops will be offered with holiday themes. The classes are appropriate for children ages 4 through 12. The cost is $5 a child, which includes all materials.
A Thanksgiving Crafts Workshop will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9. Children will make crafts related to Thanksgiving and will have a chance to share family traditions with the other participants.
A Family Holiday Decoration Workshop will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7. Children will learn how to make ornaments for the holidays. Cocoa and cookies will be provided.
Scrapbooking for Children will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Nov. 3 and 10. The cost is $5 a child for each class. The child only needs to bring photos for the scrapbook. All other materials are provided.
Children will learn basic scrapbooking techniques, including stenciling, journaling, making pockets and tags. The class is for children ages 6 to 12. Sign up for one or both classes.
