I think it is great that a grandfather is taking time out to hunt with his grandson on Youth Deer Day (Oct. 30). Does this grandfather know that it is illegal to drive deer toward his grandson and, also, that he is not supposed to leave a youth out in the woods by himself? He should be close to him at all times.
Bottom line, teaching is great, but what is the grandfather teaching this boy?
Game wardens should contact him and the grandson to explain the rules of hunting so this doesn’t happen again.
