JAY – Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3335, American Legion Post 10, and AmVets Post 33 and their respective auxiliaries are inviting area residents and veterans to join them on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, as they conduct memorial services.

Veterans who would like to participate are welcome to join any one of the services or meet at the lineup at 6:30 a.m. Friday at the VFW Post, 64 Jewell St.

Times for the memorial services are:

7:15 a.m.: Livermore Falls Grand Army of Republic, American Legion Post 10

7:30 a.m.: Livermore Falls Park World War II Monument, VFW Post 3335

7:45 a.m.: Livermore Falls Bridge, AmVets Post 33

8:15 a.m.: Brettuns Cemetery, American Legion

8:45 a.m.: Jay Bridge POW-MIA Monument, VFW

9:15 a.m.: Jay Hill Cemetery, Veterans Memorial dedication, Hyla Friedman

10 a.m.: Chisholm Square, War Memorial dedication, VFW

10:45 a.m.: Richardson Cemetery, AmVets

12:30 p.m.: Fayette Veterans Memorial, American Legion

By attending any or all of the memorial services, people can show veterans support for their service, according to a representative for the posts.
