AUBURN – Blanche Julia Bouvier, 88, of McKinnon Street, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, at Clover Manor Nursing Home, with her daughter and family by her side.

She was born on Nov. 25, 1916, in Lewiston, the daughter of Marius and Yvonne (Tardif) Perrier.

She and her husband, Deaurel Bouvier, were married at Sacred Heart Church in Auburn on July 27, 1935.

She was a fan of the Red Sox and was on a bowling team and pitched for softball team with Shapiro Brothers. Blanche loved to play golf at Martindale Country Club and was a member for many years.

She was a member of the VFW Post 1603 Ladies Auxiliary on Minot Avenue in Auburn, and also the Emblem Club on Lisbon Street, Lewiston.

She enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband, Del.

She is survived by her son, Deaurel A. Bouvier Jr. and daughter-in-law, Cecilia, of California; and daughter, Carmen D. Cook and son-in-law, Robert Morlock, of Auburn; two sisters, Dorothy Perrier Jalbert of Lewiston, and Olivette Perrier Bazinet of Pompano Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren, Jon Cook and wife, Karen, of Auburn, Danielle Rice and husband, Richard, of Virginia, and Darlene Decker and husband, Matt, of California; four great-grandchildren, Jason Cook of Greene, Breanna Cook of Auburn, Brennon Decker of California, and Ella Nicole Rice of Virginia.

She was predeceased by her husband in 2002.
