RUMFORD – Edward and Lisa Dawson of Rumford are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Heidi Cassandra Dawson, to Allen Edmond Chartier, son of Jacques and Brenda Chartier of Mexico.
Miss Dawson is a 2001 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and a 2005 graduate of Kennebec Valley Communtiy College. She is currently employed at Community Concepts in Wilton as a head start teacher.
Mr. Chartier is a 2001 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and a 2003 graduate of Eastern Maine Technical College. He is currently employed at Nicols Brothers Logging as a diesel mechanic.
A Feb. 11 wedding is planned.
