LIVERMORE – Vera M. Robinson, 85, of Bean Street, Livermore, went home to be with the Lord late Saturday evening, Nov. 12, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Livermore, where she had been living.
She was born on June 23, 1920, in Fayette, the daughter of Morton and Grace (Adkins) Jackman of Fayette. She graduated from Livermore Falls High School at the age of 15.
On April 10, 1948, she married Leland M. Robinson, with whom she celebrated 45 years of marriage before his death on April 10, 1993.
She spent her life as a homemaker to her husband and family. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Constantine and his wife, Norma, of Livermore; two daughters, Sylvia Burnette and her husband, Ronald, of Lisbon, and Debra Batchelder and her companion, Andy, of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, including a special great-grandson, Brian Fowler and his wife, Erin, of Livermore; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her parents; and three brothers, Cecil, Loyd and Merton Jackman.
