Church fair
PARIS – Members of First Congregational Church, 17 East Main St., South Paris, have been making more than 350 Christmas wreaths and lots of boxwood trees for the annual Christmas fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19.
There will be crafts on sale, too. Coffee and popovers will be available in the morning, followed by lunch with a choice of broccoli soup, fish chowder or turkey soup. Call 743-2437 for more information.
Holiday service
NORWAY – The community is invited to attend the annual Thanksgiving service hosted by the Oxford Hills Area Clergy Association at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Second Congregational Church.
There will be a special combined choir with singers from all the churches. Special thanks will be given to Lisa Hones, John Tucker and Helene Decker for the years of service they have given to the Oxford Hills Food Pantry.
A freewill offering will be taken for the clergy benevolence fund.

Sunday service
PARIS – The First Congregational Church, 17 East Main St., South Paris, invites old friends and new to join in worship on Sunday, Nov. 20, for Old Home Sunday.

Church and Sunday school are at 10 a.m. and the church is handicapped accessible.
Eve service
NORTH WATERFORD – The Rev. George Frobig has announced a Thanksgiving Eve service to be held at the North Waterford Congregational Church (UCC) at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23.
The service will be held jointly with the Waterford Congregational Church (UCC).
A Community Thanksgiving Dinner is being planned for noon Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, at the North Waterford Congregational Church Vestry.

Regular Sunday worship services are held at 10 a.m. each Sunday at the North Waterford church, 5 Kezars Road.
Services will be held at North Waterford through the winter.
