LEEDS – Rural Community Action Ministry will conduct the annual holiday program again this year. The program assists ministry area families with limited financial resources who would otherwise be unable to afford holiday gifts.

The program is coordinated by the ministry’s Homelessness Prevention Services Committee.

People desiring to apply need to contact the ministry directly. Deadline for requests is Dec. 2.

People who would like to donate to the program can do so by contacting the ministry also. Help is needed in purchasing new gifts, wrapping paper, tape, gift tags and cash.

The ministry is a community-based social service agency that works with churches and other organizations to assist people in the towns of Litchfield, Monmouth, Wayne, Sabattus, Wales, Greene, Leeds, Turner, Livermore, Canton, Hartford, Sumner and Buckfield.
