AUBURN – Barbara R. Goff, 74, of 29 Tarr Ave., Lewiston, died peacefully Wednesday morning, Nov. 16, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice, following a brief illness.
She was born in Auburn on Jan. 13, 1931, the daughter of Chester and Jesse Cook Walton. She was educated in Lewiston schools.
In 1947, she married Michael A. Goff of Lewiston, who passed on Aug. 12.
She was a member of St. Patrick’s Parish. Barbara worked at the St. Vincent D’Paul thrift shop and as a Sacristan for St. Patrick’s Parish for many years.
She is survived by her son, Michael T. and his fianc, Julie Ouellette, of Auburn; a grandson, Thomas Croteau; son-in-law, Paul Croteau of Lewiston; brothers, Daniel and David Walton of Waterboro.
In addition to her husband’s passing three months prior, she was predeceased by her daughter, Jayne Croteau, on Jan. 19, 2001.
