Meeting to discuss trees in Norway

NORWAY – A meeting to discuss the future of the trees on Main Street has been scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Friday in the Town Office.

Tish Carr, formerly an arborist for the state of Maine and city of Augusta, will discuss developing a plan for the trees. Some of the existing trees are either dead or dying; some of them are too big for their location or are causing damage to sewer lines and sidewalks.

Anyone interested is encouraged to attend and participate in the discussion.
