Food, craft sale

NEW SHARON – A pre-holiday food and craft sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the United Methodist Church. Sponsored by the Women’s Society of the church, the sale will include candy, cooked foods, quilts, aprons, knit goods and novelties. Local artisans with unique products will be available and luncheon specials will be offered.

Take-out meal

NEW SHARON – The monthly family baked bean take-out will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 3, at the New Sharon Congregational United Church of Christ on Cape Cod Hill Road. The meal includes a quart of baked beans, a pint of coleslaw, yeast rolls or brown bread and a family-size homemade pie for $12.

Pie, roll sale

STRONG – A Thanksgiving pie and roll sale will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at the Strong United Methodist Church Parish Hall. To place a pre-order, call Elaine R. Allen at 684-5621 by Monday, Nov. 21.
