LIVERMORE FALLS – Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, for John H. Barclay II at Moose Hill Freewill Church in Livermore Falls. Officiating was Pastor John Hall. An interactive eulogy was given by Franklin “Chip” Barclay II. Scripture reading was done by Tim and Claire Barclay. Musical selections were “The Little White Church on the Hill,” “Go Rest High on That Mountain” and the original rendition of “Precious Lord Take My Hand,” accompanied by Therese Therrien. Special selections were “This World is Not My Home” and “Mansion Over the Hilltop,” a duet by Dick and Becky Pelletier. Lori Bonnevie performed “Help Me” and “Take My Hand Precious Lord.” Bagpiper Ian Barclay led the procession from the church to the cemetery, playing “Amazing Grace,” and dressed in his Scottish kilt. Pallbearers were Clark Souther of Livermore Falls, Gerald McCrellis of Lewiston, Chip Barclay of Lewiston, Tim Barclay of Auburn, Chris Barclay of Colorado Springs, Colo., David Barclay of Scotia, N.Y., and Dusty Brook of Olympic Valley, Calif. Honorary pallbearers were David Goding of Fayette, Waldo Souther of Livermore Falls, Skip Pooler of New Sharon and Robbie Rawson of Billerica, Mass. Interment was at Moose Hill Cemetery in Livermore Falls.
