AUBURN – Lorraine C. Boisvert, 70, of Riverside Drive in Auburn, died Wednesday evening, Nov. 16, at the Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice House with her family at her side.

She was born in Auburn on Dec. 23, 1934, a daughter of Armand and Gaitane (Roy) LeBlond. She was educated in local schools and remained a lifelong resident of this community. She was married to Bertrand Boisvert, who passed away May 17, 1982.

She worked in the quilt-finishing department at the Bates Mill for 35 years. After retirement, she worked at the Italian Bakery Products Co. in Lewiston. She loved working there and seeing everyone she knew.

She was a member of St. Louis Church. In her free time she loved to go dancing, and she enjoyed working in her flower gardens, doing jigsaw puzzles, sewing, dining out, traveling and the company of her two cats, Sally and Molly.

She leaves a daughter, Diane Moreau of Auburn; a son, Donald Boisvert and wife, Elizabeth, of Auburn; three grandchildren, Melissa Lazaro and husband, Chuck, of Auburn, Kelly deBear and husband, Peter, of Portland, and Bee-Jay Moreau and his fiancee, Katrina Martin, of Auburn; a great-grandson, Hunter Lazaro; a sister, Rita Dube of Lewiston; three brothers, Richard LeBlond and wife, Henrietta, of Auburn, Normand LeBlond and wife, Christa, of Germany, and Bob LeBlond and wife, Linda, of Gresham, Ore.; a sister-in-law, Doris LeBlond of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Marcel LeBlond; a sister, Amande Erskine; a son-in-law, Rene Moreau; and a brother-in-law, Lucien Dube.
