POLAND – Robin Rae Laplante, 44, died peacefully at home on Nov. 15, after a long battle with cancer.
She was born Aug. 22, 1961, and raised in Stafford Springs, Conn., the daughter of Raymond E. Pelton of Connecticut and Norma J. Storrs of New York.
Robin later moved to Maine and was employed by Tambrands for 17 years. She enjoyed photography, arts and crafts, camping, and hunting and fishing with her family and friends. Robin’s biggest passion was having family gatherings for special events.
She is survived by her husband, Donald N. Laplante of Poland; her daughter, Nicole Johnson of South Paris; her son, Christopher LaRochelle of Poland; two stepsons, Seth and Sophia Laplante of Winthrop, and Nicholas Laplante of Camden; her mother, Norma J. Storrs; two brothers, Robert and Maureen Storrs and John and Korina Storrs, and several nieces and nephews, all residing in New York; and five grandchildren, Calin LaRochelle of South Paris, and Aaron, Alyssa, Ashley and Acacia, all of Winthrop.
Robin was a kind and loving person and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
