LEWISTON – Rose Marie Bureau, 79, formerly of 393 Center St., Auburn, died Thursday, Nov 17, at Central Maine Medical Center following a long illness.

She was born in Livermore Falls on Oct. 10, 1926, the daughter of Ludger and Florida (Bolduc) Bureau and had been a resident of this community since 1949.

She was employed for 38 years at the Libby Mill, until her retirement in 1991.

Rose was a parishioner of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.

She is survived by one sister, Imelda Latulippe and her husband, Marius, of Mesa, Ariz.; three nieces, Susan Martineau and her husband, Gerry, of Lewiston, Linda Riffice and her husband, Tony, of Florida, and Lisa Ashley of Arizona; one nephew, Henry Latulippe and his wife, Debbie, of Connecticut; one grandniece, Bridget Opoku of Lewiston; two grandnephews, Kristopher and Greg Martineau, both of Lewiston; and two great-grandnieces, Nichole and Mya Opoku, both of Lewiston.
