LEWISTON – The wedding of Tammy M. Abbott and Rick E. Webb Jr. was held at 5 p.m. on Oct. 1 at the home of the honorable Judge John Beliveau, who also officiated at the ceremony. Close family and friends attended the elegant and intimate wedding.
Mrs. Webb is the daughter of the late Sandra M. Abbott and Earl M. Abbott. Mr. Webb is the son of Raymond E. Webb Sr. and Marilyn Webb of Limington.
The bride, given in marriage by her grandmother, Ethel M. Rueda, wore a white chiffon gown with A-line skirt, Empire waistline, Georgette bodice with scoop neckline and cape sleeves adorned with embroidered lace and embellished with pearls and a chapel train accented with pearl trimmed streamers.
Standing up for the bridegroom was Pauline Pare, best friend of the bridegroom.
A reception followed at the Sedgley Place in Greene, after which the couple went to Umcolcus Sporting Camps in Oxbow. A second wedding trip is planned for the spring at St. Thomas. They are residing in Lewiston.
The bride is a graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed as an associate clerk at Maine District Court.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Bonney Eagle High School and is owner of Webb’s Market in Lewiston.
