ASHBURNHAM, Mass. – St. Thomas More scored 20 points in the second quarter to take over the game and hand Hebron Academy its first loss of the season, 27-7, in the Dell Preat Theabold high school bowl game Saturday.

Winston Veneble tossed a four-yard pass to Richard Ferrence and added a 17-yard scoring toss to Victor Adesanya later in the frame after Rahoo Walker scored on an eight-yard rush. Both teams came into the game with 8-0 records, joining eight other New England teams invited to play in a prep school bowl game. Jose Grumbs got Hebron on the board in the fourth quarter with a two-yard plunge. Kris Timms returned a fumble 88 yards for a score in the third quarter for St. Thomas More.
