LEWISTON – Ted Ropple has been named a vice president in the Information Technology Department at TD Banknorth Inc. in the Bates Mill in Lewiston. He will manage the Solutions Architecture team responsible for developing technology solutions meeting the various initiatives of the bank’s business lines.

Ropple joined TD Banknorth in 2001 and has more than 15 years in technology and network design and analysis.

A native of Reading, Mass., Ropple has lived in Maine since 1986. He resides in Casco with his wife, Deborah, and two sons, Edward and Benjamin.
