SCARBOROUGH – The wedding of Lara Tarby and Denis Houle was held on Aug. 20 at the First Congregational Church in Scarborough.
Mrs. Houle is the daughter of Sharon Connally of Rangeley and David Tarby and Sharon Higgins of Norwalk, Conn. Mr. Houle is the son of Robert and Jeannine Houle of Biddeford.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Terry Joubert, friend, and Louisette Houle, sister of the bridegroom, were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Jeanine Farinella, Chelsea Tuschman, Nicole Levesque, Pamela Haley and Allison Morton, friends of the bride, and Diane Janelle, sister of the bridegroom. Gabby and Delia Muscarella, cousins of the bride, were flower girls.
Brian Paquette, friend, and Shane Janelle, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, were best men, and ushers were Luke Tarby, brother of the bride, Ron Kimball, Steve Rowe, Pete Boudreau and Steve Forest, friends of the bridegroom, and Travis Patterson, nephew of the bridegroom. Kyle Muscarella, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at Dunegrass Country Club in Old Orchard Beach, after which the couple traveled to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Rangeley Lakes Regional High School and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire in 2000. She is currently employed at Medical Mutual Insurance Company in Portland.
The bridegroom is a 1991 graduate of Biddeford High School and received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bryant College in 1996. He is currently employed at Baker, Newman and Noyes in Portland.
