NEW GLOUCESTER – The wedding of Pamela M. Vachon and Jon M. Gliniewicz was held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 22 at the New Gloucester Bible Church in New Gloucester. Pastor Daniel Michaud officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Gliniewicz is the daughter of Pauline Cote of Brunswick and Ronald Vachon of Poland. Mr. Gliniewicz is the son of the late Victor and Mildred Gliniewicz of Mount Vernon.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a full-length white gown with removable long train. She carried a bouquet of red, yellow, orange, brown and green flowers.

Monica Lindsay, sister of the bride, was honor attendant. Mark Gliniewicz, brother of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man, and ushers were Dennis Cote, stepfather of the bride, and Dennis Morin, boyfriend of the bride’s sister.

A reception followed at the Bible Church Fellowship Hall in New Gloucester, after which the couple traveled to the Samoset in Rockport. They are residing in Oakland.

The bride is a 1987 graduate of Edward Little High School and is currently employed at J.S. McCarthy in Augusta as a data processing specialist for the mail house.

The bridegroom is a 1986 graduate of Maranacook High School in Readfield and attended one year at Central Maine Technical College in Auburn for welding technology. He is currently employed as a welder for Steve McGee Construction in Gardiner.
