AUBURN – Branden Dyer netted 2 goals, including the game-winner with only 2 seconds left, to lead the Auburn Youth Hockey Mites Tornadoes to a 5-4 victory over Maranacook Sunday at Ingersoll Arena. Isaiah Dubois, Liam Benson and Deryk Belanger also lit the lamp. Credited with assists were Rylee Letourneau, Dubois, Dyer and Conor Drouin. Caleb Rowland was the winning goalie.

The Auburn Peewees and Maranacook skated to a 6-6 tie Saturday. Dan Poisson tallied 4 goals for Auburn. Elijah Lamothe and Cam Spiller netted the others. Assists went to Lamothe (2), Brady Lare and Poisson. Shane Cloutier donned the pads. Robby Clark and Tom Pietrosky both collected 2 goals for Maranacook. Tyler Bryant and Tony Mercier added 1 apiece. Notching assists were Clark (2), Cody Livingston and George Bragdon. River Mullen was between the pipes. . . On Sunday, Auburn trimmed Midcoast 4-1. Josh Chouinard, Evan Roy, Nick Labbe and Poisson all netted a goal, with assists going to Poisson, Labbe, Jared Lapierre and Cam Spiller. Cloutier was again in goal. Zac Pratt tallied the lone Midcoast goal. Eric Liddy served as netminder.
