LIVERMORE – Everett L. Moore, 74, a resident of Canton Road in Livermore, died Monday, Nov. 21, at his home surrounded by his family following a year long illness.
He was born in Lewiston on April 27, 1931, the son of William Dwight and Susan Whitten Moore. He was a 1949 graduate of Leavitt Institute in Turner.
On April 11, 1952, he married Louise Barbara Capen in Livermore.
He worked as a woodsman and a construction worker on roads and bridges.
He was a member of the Oriental Star Masonic Lodge of Livermore Falls and the Kora Shrine Scottish Rite.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years of Livermore; two sons, Everett “Butch” Moore and his wife, Janice, of Turner and David Moore of North Jay; a daughter, Patricia Moore of Livermore; two grandchildren, Samantha Moore of Lisbon, and SPC-4 William Moore of Ft. Hood, Texas; a great-grandson, Colin Pierre of Lisbon; a brother, Hartley Moore and his wife, Annie, of Livermore; two sisters, Helen Nichols of Livermore Falls, and Mary Fish and her husband, Walter, of Hartford.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Moore; a son, William Moore; and sisters, Lillian Ruby and Jean Hutchins.
