NORWAY – Phyllis Leona Kimball, 69, of Norway died unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 20, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Windham on July 29, 1936, the daughter of Alton and Doris Varney. She was educated in Windham schools.

She married Bradford A. Kimball on March 4, 1971.

She was employed at Saunders Brothers, SAD 17, Gladding Paris, National Wood Products, Mecon Manufacturing and Wee Care 4 U day-care.

She graduated from Oxford Hills Adult Education in 1995.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, who would do anything for anyone.

She enjoyed cooking, going for rides, painting, shopping and playing cards. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Bradford A. Kimball, of Norway; six daughters, Mary L. King and her husband, Robert, of New York, Carol J. Palmer and her husband, George, of Norway, Susan L. Herrick and her husband, Jeff, of South Paris, Brenda L. Rowe and her husband, Tom, of Mechanic Falls, Teri L. Chretien and her husband, Jeff, of Farmington, and Lorie A. O’Neil and her husband, Kevin, of West Paris; a grandson, Scott Legere of Minot, whom she raised as her own; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; a granddaughter; two brothers; and a sister.
