LEWISTON – Daniel R. Levesque, 61, of Lewiston, formerly of Clifton Park and Wappingers Falls, N.Y., and Reading, Pa., died Sunday, Nov. 20, at Parkview Adventist Medical Center, Brunswick.
He grew up in Lewiston, graduated from St. Dominic Regional High School, Class of 1962. He later graduated from Merrimack College, Class of 1966, where he received his degree in electrical engineering, and Syracuse University, where he earned his M.B.A.
His career included many years at GE, National Semiconductor, AVX, AT&T, Lucent and Agere Technology.
He was a devoted, loving husband of 39 years to Constance (Gendron); and father of five beloved daughters, Laurie Levesque-Bell and her husband, Russell, of Hopewell Junction, N.Y., Susan Walsh and her husband, Jim, of Atlanta, Ga., Nicole Morouse and her husband, Jimmy, of York, Pa., Amy Levesque of Atlanta, Ga., and Karyn Levesque of Atlanta, Ga.
Dan also leaves behind five grandchildren, Jeffrey and Adam Bell, Brittany and Courtney Walsh, and Jacob Morouse. He is also survived by his brother, Paul Levesque and his wife, Connie, of Statesville, N.C.; sister, Lorraine Adams of Lewiston; brother, Ronald Levesque and his wife, Claire, of Cundy’s Harbor; and sister-in-law, Josie Levesque of Lewiston.
He was predeceased by his mother, Blanche (Paradis) Levesque; father, Cyprien Levesque; stepmother, Anna (Mercier) Levesque; brother Norman Levesque; and brother-in-law, Jim Adams.
