Saw II catches the audience by having a very twisted plot. It starts by having a group of people kidnapped and made to play a game in which they must follow the rules, if they do not follow the rules of a very sick old man, they will pay for it. The whole object of the movie is to find an antidote to a disease of which they have all been injected with at the beginning of the game. If they do not unleash the antidote before a certain amount of time they will all die. The old dying man has given them certain clues of which they need to use each other in order to get the antidote. The movie moves through many gruesome and detailed scenes and keeps you on the edge of your seat till the very end.
