Jocelyn Woodward, daughter of Arthur Woodward and Faith Barker of Auburn, is spending the fall 2005 semester studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, through a program run by Saint Michael’s College. Woodward is a student at the Denmark’s International Study Program. Woodward is a junior biology major at Saint Michael’s, a liberal arts, Catholic, residential college located in the Burlington area of Vermont. Woodward graduated from Edward Little High School before coming to Saint Michael’s.

Nicholas Cain, son of Paul and Kathy Cain of Auburn, is spending the fall 2005 semester studying abroad in Prague, Czech Republic through a program run by Saint Michael’s College. Cain is a student at the Charles University. Cain is a senior business administration major at Saint Michael’s, a liberal arts, Catholic, residential college located in Burlington area of Vermont. Cain graduated from Bridgton Academy before coming to Saint Michael’s.

Union College

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Union College in Schenectady, N.Y. is pleased to announce that Natalie E. Dupill, daughter of Robert and Linda Dupill of Peru graduated with honors in June 2005. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Managerial Economics, cum laude.

Ross Jordan, a junior at Connecticut College, performed in the Connecticut College Asian / Asian American Student Association’s (CCASA) 10th annual Diwali Dinner Festival.

Diwali, from the Sanskrit word “Deepavali,” is traditionally known as the “South Asian festival of lights.” The lighting of lamps, exchange of sweets and explosion of fire works customarily mark the celebration of this festival. Diwali also marks the beginning of the Hindu New Year.

Jordan, a 2003 graduate of Northfield Mount Hermon, is the son of Windsor Jordan, Sr. of Decatur, Ga., and Adelaide Solomon-Jordan of Rumford.
