BRUNSWICK – More than 100 area artists throughout the Bath-Brunswick region will show and sell their work during Arts Downtown & All Around Friday and Saturday, Dec. 2 and 3. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This open studio event features 50 art sites in eight Midcoast communities. Some sites have additional hours. Included are downtown galleries, open studios in rural towns and several group shows.

Arts Downtown & All Around is presented by Midcoast REACH, formerly the Brunswick Area Arts & Cultural Alliance. A detailed map and brochure will be available at galleries, libraries and coffee shops throughout the region prior to the event and at www.baaca.org.

Pottery, jewelry, fiber arts, paintings, drawing, assemblages, and multi-media work can be seen and purchased at shows and studios in Bath, Woolwich, Arrowsic, West Bath, Bowdoinham, Brunswick, Topsham and Harpswell. Readings, theater, dance and music performances are also scheduled.
