WEST PARIS – The West Paris Community Choir will present a Christmas cantata for the fourth year. The choir is composed of 26 singers from eight churches: West Paris Baptist, Bryant Pond Baptist, Mission Congregational, Oxford Advent Christian, Woodstock Seventh-Day Adventist, Paris Hill Baptist and Dixfield Congregational churches.
The cantata, “Where Love Leads,” was arranged by Russell Mauldin of Nashville, Tenn.
The first performances will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Woodstock Seventh Day Adventist and at 6 p.m. at the Bethel Church of the Nazarene.
West Paris Baptist Church will host the choir at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, beginning with a string ensemble under the direction of Cheryl Bacon. The last performance will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 17 at the Dixfield Congregational Church.
The choir is under the direction of Mary Standard, with Pastor Ron Blake as assistant. Maurise Veatch is the accompanist and Tom Standard is the narrator.
