LISBON FALLS – The Lisbon Library Department and the Lisbon Teen Center have teamed up to share a little holiday cheer. Children in grades kindergarten through eight may join Brian Soucy from the Teen Center and Sue Ramsay from the Lisbon Library Department for a Christmas Sing-A-Long and Craft Day on Saturday, Dec. 3.

The festivities will begin with the sing-a-long at 10 a.m. at the Teen Center, then the group will go to the library children’s room to create a holiday craft. There is no charge,, but preregistration is necessary. Call the Lisbon Library Department at 353-6564 to sign up.

This is the third event of the “Ride The Reading Trail” program that the department is sponsoring for the school year. Children, pre-school through grade eight, are encouraged to participate by reading books at their leisure and recording them on their reading records at the library.

Prizes are earned throughout the program, and the children will “travel” to various destinations throughout the world. For more information, call the library.
