LISBON FALLS – The annual Christmas tree lighting will take place on Saturday, Dec. 3, at Gazebo Park, Route 196.

The festivities will begin at 4 p.m. with seasonal music performed by members of the Sugg Middle School Band, under the direction of Ed Judd. All will be invited to sing along with Lisbon’s Steve Hildonen as he entertains and leads the gathering in holiday favorites.

A special guest, Santa Claus, should arrive by fire truck at the Gazebo at 5 to spend some time with the children after he lights the tree and the gazebo.

The garlands and gazebo decorations will again be done by the Wayne and Brenda Lavers family and Bob and Alex Kazimer, and Public Works will festoon the tree with lights. The trees that will surround the gazobo area will be lighted in memory of Chris Wertman, Jeff Guay, Bob Reynolds and Lavinia Gardiner.

Hot chocolate and Christmas cookies will be available. Call Faye Brown at 353-2728 for more information.
