LIVERMORE – Phillip A. Timberlake, 74, a resident of Boothby Road in Livermore, died Thursday, Nov. 24, at his home surrounded by his family, following a year-long illness.
He was born on July 26, 1931, in Livermore Falls, the son of Newland A. and Mary Mildred Reynolds Timberlake and attended Leavitt Institute in Turner.
On April 11, 1963, he married Nancy L. True in Livermore Falls.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Navy, retiring in 1968.
Phil worked as a snowmachine repairman, as a distributor for Sun-Journal newspapers and for DeCoster Egg Farms in Turner. He was a member of the D.A.V. and a life member of the VFW, Frank L. Mitchell, Post 3335 of Jay. He enjoyed spending his spare time having coffee at Guild’s Hardware and Wayne Morris’ Garage in Livermore.
He is survived by his wife of Livermore; two daughters, Leanne Timberlake of Wayne and Lucinda Timberlake-Kwit of Cleveland, Ohio; a sister, Mary Ellen O’Hare and her husband, Dan, of Columbus, Ohio; two grandchildren, Alexandra and Dar’ya Kwit.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Doris “Dot” Therrien and Joyce Lesko; a brother-in-law, George Lesko Sr.; and a nephew, George Lesko Jr.
