LEWISTON – Tom Stretton has been named manager of Rainbow Federal Credit Union’s South Paris branch.

Stretton began working at the Bates Division Employees Federal Credit Union in September 1976. He was a part of the original management team in 1984 when Bates Credit Union and St. Joseph Federal Credit Union merged to become Rainbow Federal Credit Union.

He was transferred to Rainbow’s office on Washington Street in April 1990 until December 1991 as the branch manager and was transferred back to Lewiston in January 1992 as a loan officer when the current loan department building was opened. Stretton remained in Lewiston until February 1997 when he became branch manager of the Mechanic Falls branch. He worked at that Mechanic Falls office until his most recent transfer to South Paris.

He and his wife, Diane, have two sons, Thom and Timothy.
